Whether it’s your first time at Lapis & Oak or you’re a regular visitor, we’re delighted to welcome you. We want your time with us to be relaxing, enjoyable, perhaps even transformative.
What should I wear to the spa?
Your comfort is our priority! We recommend wearing loose-fitting, comfortable clothes that you feel relaxed in. As you will be asked to remove all jewelry, we strongly recommend you leave it at home.
Can I choose my Therapist?
Of course! Learn about our team members and let us know who you’d prefer when you book your appointment.
Can I shower before my massage?
Though we do not offer shower facilities on site, we highly recommend bathing before all spa & massage treatments. Warm showers help relax your mind and muscles, helping reduce any tension you may be feeling and benefitting you and your massage therapist.
Do I have to get completely undressed for a massage?
This is completely up to you. Most people choose to undress completely; some leave on their underwear. Prior to your massage, your therapist will exit the room so you can get completely comfortable. During a massage experience, your massage therapist will use a sheet draping technique to cover you entirely, except for the body part currently being worked on.
Why should I drink water after my massage?
Your muscle tissues can become dehydrated during a massage session. Drinking plenty of water post-massage will help you rehydrate and build healthy muscle tissue, and will remove the metabolic wastes that accumulate as your muscles are worked out.
What time should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment to allow time to complete paperwork. If you’re late, we may need to shorten your spa treatment to accommodate the next scheduled guest.

Please let your therapist know if you are experiencing any discomfort when you arrive or if you want us to give special attention to a particular area. Also, feel free to ask questions. Cell Phone Etiquette
To ensure a serene and relaxing experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone upon arrival and refrain from taking calls during your time at the spa. Turning your ringer off and texting during foot soaks and salt therapy are allowed.

Spa & Cancellation Policies
We require a minimum 4-hour notice to cancel and reschedule services. If you cancel less than 4 hours before your appointment, you will be charged half the session fee. We reserve the right to charge up to the full-service amount for all missed appointments or late cancellations. If you fail to cancel your service, you will be charged the full price. A credit card number is required to hold your reservation.
